Our philosophy at Pillars is rooted in faith, growth, and compassion. We believe every child is uniquely created by God with purpose, potential, and value. Because of that, we approach every child and family with patience, respect, and the belief that meaningful progress is always possible.
These beliefs shape the five core values that guide everything we do:

Faith – Faith is the foundation of who we are. We believe every child is uniquely created by God with purpose and potential. This belief guides how we treat every child and family—with compassion, patience, respect, and a commitment to supporting growth in a way that honors each individual.
Fun – We believe learning should be joyful. By bringing energy, creativity, and play into our sessions, we help children feel comfortable, engaged, and excited to learn.
Passion – Passion is at the heart of our care. Our team is deeply committed to supporting children and families, and that passion drives us to provide thoughtful, meaningful, and compassionate services every day.
Learning – We believe there is always something new to learn. We value curiosity, continued education, and professional growth as pathways to providing the best care possible.
Quality – Services at Pillars are highly individualized according to each patient’s unique needs. Each behavior intervention plan and skill acquisition program is implemented with care, consistency, and fidelity to ensure meaningful progress.
Family Guidance
We value our families and aim to equip them with the strategies we use every day to teach their children important skills. Our goal is to help families establish objectives, such as creating a toilet training plan at home or assisting their child in expressing their needs outside of therapy. We provide monthly guidance sessions for each family and also host parent nights once a month. During these video meetings, parents of children with autism from across Texas can connect to learn about specific topics, discuss challenges, and share successes.
